The Eskimo Dog is a common termed breed for a few types of dog breeds.  The most common is the American Eskimo Dog.  The American Eskimo dog is a spitz-like breed that has an all-white double coat with brief and thick ears. because of those features, she can fare properly in cold weather. This breed has been documented by the American Kennel club (AKC) since 1994. The American Eskimo dog is available in toy, miniature and trendy versions. Her sweetness and adorability make her an excellent family dog.

The second most common is the Canadian Eskimo Dog.  The Canadian Eskimo Dog is known as the oldest Canadian dog breed, and the final aboriginal dog of the Americas, the Canadian Eskimo dog has verged on extinction for almost four decades, around the early twentieth century, it became predicted that over 20,000 Eskimo dog labored along their Inuit counterpart across the Arctic, today less than one hundred ninety possible purebred dog remain on the CKC registry.
